Magic Engine's Feature-length generative dark comedy expands its audience through Spotify’s growing video platform
LOS ANGELES, CA — August 10, 2026 — Magic Engine Studios announced today that Pumpkin Patch, the feature-length generative dark comedy created by Brian James Gage, is now available to watch on Spotify Podcasts.
The Spotify release marks the second major distribution win for the independently produced feature, following its license to Fawesome, a leading FAST platform available in more than 74 million U.S. households.
Set on the bizarre world of Planet Ween, Pumpkin Patch follows a hard-drinking, bar-fighting vigilante with a pumpkin for a head who is recruited for a seemingly impossible mission after the President of Halloween crash-lands inside the notorious prison colony District 13.
Created entirely by Gage using the generative production pipeline he developed for Magic Engine, Pumpkin Patch is part of a growing slate of feature-length movies produced through a workflow that combines generative imagery, animation, voice, music, sound design, editing and traditional narrative production.
