Magic Engine Studios Heads to The Bahamas for Muhammad Ali World Premiere and International AI Movie Roundtable

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Magic Engine's in-house creator of six feature-length movies will join writer/director T.M. Caufield in Nassau for the premiere of her new feature film G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness, followed by a live international discussion with pioneering AI movie makers.
NASSAU, THE BAHAMAS | October 26, 2026—Brian James Gage, co-founder of Magic Engine Studios, will be in Nassau this week to attend the world premiere of G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness, the new historical docudrama from award-winning writer-director T.M. Caufield, before joining Caufield in person for the 2nd Annual Art of the AI Feature Film Roundtable on Friday, October 30.
The two-day gathering brings together independent creators helping define the emerging world of feature-length generative cinema.
The festivities begin Thursday, October 29, with the world premiere of Caufield’s highly anticipated Muhammad Ali docudrama at Nassau’s Fusion Superplex. The date marks exactly 66 years since an 18-year-old Cassius Clay made his professional boxing debut in Louisville, Kentucky. Nassau holds its own historic significance: it was here that Muhammad Ali fought the final professional bout of his legendary career in December 1981.
Caufield's feature brings Ali’s extraordinary journey full circle, combining extensive historical research, original screenwriting, and advanced generative production technology to explore the life and legacy of one of the world's most celebrated athletes.
On Friday, October 30, Gage will join Caufield live from Nassau for the second annual Art of the AI Feature Film Roundtable, an international livestream featuring several of the creators pushing the boundaries of independent AI movie production.
The international lineup includes:
Brian James Gage: Co-founder of Magic Engine Studios and creator of six feature-length generative movies completed in approximately 15 months, including The Yellow Knight, Astro Cats: The Movie, and Pumpkin Patch: MOONBREAKER.
T.M. (Tasha) Caufield: Award-winning writer-director, USC School of Cinematic Arts graduate, former Warner Bros. Fellow, founder of UAI Artists, and creator of G.O.A.T.: Muhammad Ali’s Blueprint to Greatness.
Hooroo Jackson: Independent movie maker and founder of The New Machine Cinema, whose groundbreaking 2023 feature Window Seat was among the earliest fully AI-generated feature-length movies, followed by an expanding body of experimental generative cinema.
Diane Laidlaw (Afro Futcha): Multi-award-winning British AI creator and creative technologist whose honors include first place at Project Odyssey 2025. A 2025 TED AI Vienna speaker, Laidlaw is also the creator of the 2026 generative feature 6 Minutes.
Daniil Volkau: AI director and creator known for his science-fiction and experimental generative productions, including the feature-length projects The Wrong Planet and Iron Orchids.
The roundtable will explore the rapidly changing realities of making, financing, marketing, and distributing feature-length AI movies. Topics include emerging production workflows, the economics of generative movie making, intellectual property and rights clearance, audience development, and the expanding distribution opportunities available to independent creators.
Gage joins the roundtable following the completion of six original feature movies since July 2025 under his K13 Cinematics and Magic Engine Studios banners, with projects spanning fantasy, science fiction, horror, and comedy. His productions have reached millions of viewers through streaming and digital distribution outlets including Apple TV, Roku, Spotify Podcasts, OTT Stuido, and Fawesome TV.
Through Magic Engine Studios, co-founded with Debbi Berlin, Gage is now working to expand those production capabilities into a larger creative enterprise focused on original intellectual property, feature movies, and advanced generative production services.
The Nassau gathering offers an opportunity for some of the emerging medium's most active creators to compare not merely the possibilities of generative technology, but the practical experience of using it to complete and distribute full-length movies.
The 2nd Annual Art of the AI Feature Film Roundtable will broadcast live on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with an audience Q&A following the discussion.
